FanAir USA provides flight training at the San Luis Obispo Regional Airport. The flight instruction provided gives you an opportunity to have personalized flight training! I have taken an approach to flight training that provides you individualized flight experience and ground lessons suited to your learning style.
The flight instruction courses available are private pilot, instrument rating, commercial pilot, multi engine rating, certified flight instructor, also endorsements for flight reviews and instrument profiecency checks. The courses consist of some major differences in that I have prepared ground lessons with illustrated handouts and worksheets dedicated to provide you with the required FAA, (Federal Aviation Administration), resource information.

My flight training is committed to the success of each student. I take great pride in training you to become a licensed pilot and discover the excitement of aviation.

When you start flying with FanAir USA, you will recieve your login code to access the specific course documents for the course you have enrolled in. Call our office at (805) 781-9120 and schedule a flight.

Flight Instructor Introduction

Doug Faner started flying general aviation aircraft and continued to fly high performance, complex and multi-engine. After he earned his commercial pilot certificate, he continued the licensing process and became a flight instructor. Doug has instructed for the past 8 years working for flight schools before forming FanAir USA. He looks forward to flying with you and opening up the possibilities aviation brings into every individuals' career.
